Home Fire In Winston-Salem, NC

This home in Winston experienced a fire in their home's oil furnace which was located in the basement. While the property on experienced minor structural damage the entire home was covered in oily black soot. Please note the extent of smoke and soot damage of the floor joist. Each of the floor joists were so caked with smoke and soot it appeared they hand been painted black.  In addition to this damage the basement had several inches of water from the fire departments efforts to save the structure. The after photo is after the same floor joists after they were cleaned.  As you can see the look brand new.
