Smoke Damaged Basement in Winston-Salem Home

This Winston-Salem home's basement is the worse of the fire damage was centered.  The fire started in the oil furnace. As you can see the wall looks almost black where the smoke and soot settled on the walls and ceilings.  The after photo is the completed basement. Fortunately there was only minor structural damage from the fire due to the homeowners fast response.  The walls and floors were cleaned and painted.  The floor was painted and sealed. The wiring, HVAC and plumbing was replaced.  The homeowners were thrilled with the final results.  The could not believe it was the same house.
